The streets of Tel-Aviv are paved with cards. These cards, offering sexual services, are on the sidewalks, on cars windows, surrounding us in the public space. They represent a dark side of us as individuals and of society. The way we treat them, or ignore them, correspond with the way we treat our own dark side. We can learn much from them - from how wide spread they are, from how they try to appeal to us…
I've been fascinated by these cards for a long time, collecting them for a few years now (I got well over 300 by now). I created this site as part of my attempt to examine this cultural phenomenon and share my fascination with others.
I chose this format for presenting my collection for two main reasons – one is its resemblance to online stores, which brings up the obvious analogy, and the second is that it allows me to emphasize aspects that I find interesting, while still allowing others to play with it and reach new observations.
